Building Leaders. Creating Capacity.
Our various Self-Advocacy groups and events are designed to aid people with intellectual disabilities in becoming advocates for themselves and for others. Through participation in retreats, seminars, workshops, and info sessions, people with intellectual disabilities build skills to become leaders in their communities.
I Can. You Can. We Can.
INSK's Self-Advocate Network
Inclusion Saskatchewan's flagship Self-Advocacy program is the Individual and Collective Advocacy Network. Through this program, people with intellectual disabilities come together to develop leadership skills, talk about their lives, challenge barriers in their communities, and improve awareness of disability issues. This group holds many events throughout the year, including regular retreats.
