Dale Ebert

(May 8, 1940 – July 6, 2018)

Dale Ebert, Saskatchewan Association for Community Living President from 1999-2002, passed away on July 6, 2018 after a battle with cancer. Dale was a huge supporter of both the SACL’s and the Canadian Association for Community Living’s work.

Dale also touched many people through his many years of teaching and volunteering, and in 2016 he was awarded both the Sovereign Medal for Volunteers and the Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal.

Gloria Mahussier, current SACL President, reflected, “I learned so much from him about the beliefs and values of our movement in my first years with the SACL. It is a great loss.” The SACL Board and staff extend their deepest sympathy and condolences to Dale Ebert’s family.
